people sprouting the canard about how abortions have gone down under Clinton and up under Bush need to recheck their facts. it HAS gone down under Bush too.

The guy who wrote the original article in Sojourners, a progressive evangelical magazine, asserting abortions going up under Bush has had to retract. however, i think his point that the abortion rate has declined at a far slower pace under Bush vs. Clinton is a good one.

so stop repeating falsehoods and focus again on the fact that Dems want to reduce abortions through prevention, safety nets, while the GOP's anti-birth control, anti=safety net, throw women to the wolves of the "free market" approach only serves to increase abortion rates.
